Our Story 

Expat Tax Back was founded after one of our founders had issues with their tax refund when they left the UK.

They found the process slow, unclear and inconvenient. Their employer sent their documents to their UK address after they left, and they couldn't send them new ones. This is why we started Expat Tax Back. We want to make the experience as stress-free and seamless as possible. We now offer shipping, but are aiming to offer more services that can be covered by your tax refund in the future.

How long does it take to get my tax refund?

It will take between 3-5 weeks, depending on how busy HMRC is.

If you have your P45, we will fast-track 50% of your refund in 24 hours.

If you don't have your P45, we won't be able to fast-track the first 50%.
